Referral Fee (8%)

TikTok charges 8% of the sale price as a referral fee (up from 6% in 2025). Applies to every order regardless of how the buyer found your product.

Transaction Fee (2%)

A 2% payment processing fee on the total payment amount. Covers credit card processing. Similar to Stripe/PayPal fees on other platforms.

FBT Fulfillment Fees

Fulfilled by TikTok (FBT) became mandatory for many sellers as of March 31, 2026. Weight-based: $3.58 for ≤0.5lb, $4.08 ≤1lb, $4.78 ≤2lb, $5.48 ≤3lb, then +$0.50/lb. Handles pick, pack, and ship.

Affiliate Commission

If your sale came through an affiliate creator, you pay them a commission (typically 10-20%). Only applies to affiliate-driven sales. Open Collaboration commissions run higher (15-30%).

Shipping Fee Program (6%)

For seller-shipped orders, TikTok charges 6% on shipping revenue you collect. Free shipping = $0 fee. Does NOT apply to FBT orders.

Refund Admin Reserve

TikTok retains 20% of referral fee on refunded orders (capped $5/SKU). We estimate ~2% return rate. Check your actual return analytics in Seller Center.
